Edersee Alm Wohnmobilpark in Waldeck

were there at the beginning of October, drove again an hour after arrival. We have a small mobile home (6.7m). Pitches pitifully small. Awning could not be set up. Plumbing undersized. Just thick gravel, it still flies around your ears after a 5 km drive. Just the view doesn't justify the classification. Never again.

A nice view but that was it. Very aggressive owner, never again !! Definitely not recommended, especially as a dog owner.

Today it was very nice again. Unfortunately, there was only liquid in the Alm from 9 p.m. But the place is great.

Very nice Womo parking space, were there 3 days this week, unfortunately very little water in the lake, but still highly recommended!

Top place for what? A great view alone is not enough. Sanitary facilities too little and too small. Then a mediocre restaurant. The staff was absolutely nice. No bread roll service in October is no longer worth it for the baker although the space was 90% full. We actually only went there because of the video from Womo Click. Seems to be just fake. WHAT A SHAME.

Opening times are on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. When asked by telephone whether it would be possible to stop for a beer at 9:00 pm, the answer was: "I won't leave the shop for two people. If nobody is sitting here, I'll close." Somehow weak ... maybe ask what sense OPENING times have.

Terrible there, so unfriendly. The operator missed his job and I am not the only one to say that, at least 30 others who were there said that. They don't know the service there and about the sanitary facilities, I'd better not say anything. We had paid for 2 nights but drove on again after one and happily waived the money we had paid, as did our parking space neighbors. Once and never again! Once and not again ..

Great view. Fresh water and electricity available. WLAN was available but rather unusable. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Sanitary facilities are good but no toilet paper.

Well laid out, clean terrace parking space, easy to drive, with a great view of the Edersee ... Water, sewage, electricity, WiFi, toilets available "Park as high up as possible, otherwise the way to the toilets is very far" (everything very clean) Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, the staff ... well ...

Very good parking space for mobile homes on the Ederstausee. Vehicles are on 4 floors with a view of the reservoir. Anyone who loves peace and quiet, likes to ride a bike or want to hike, will find what they need here. The lake also offers good conditions for anglers. Shopping possibilities are unfortunately out of place. You should have everything with you. The restaurant on the square has a good and inexpensive offer. Unfortunately, the opening times usually only start at 5:00 p.m. You should consider offering the campers a bread roll service, as is common in many places. But the price for the parking space of 15 euros per day is ok. Supply and disposal available. Electricity costs 50 cents / kWh. Space and restaurant are recommended.

Everything is forbidden that is how it seems. Arrived at 9.30pm because the place was closed with a note that everything is occupied. 1/3 was still free. The next morning (Tuesday) the place was still closed at nine thirty, presumably because the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. For us it had the impression that we no longer need it. When paying for the space, we were informed again what is prohibited.

Actually, I can only agree with the previous opinions. The view is fantastic and deserves 5 stars. We liked the area laid out in the terrace. Decorated with the big stones ... The alpine hut is very nice to look at. However, the operator does not go in their unfriendliness. When I asked about the toilet paper, the answer I received was that since then there has not been any hanging there, and the toilet is no longer clogged ... Otherwise the sanitary facilities are an absolute no go! There is simply not enough space in the mobile home! And the one shower is an imposition. 1 € for 5 minutes is not uncommon and within the scope .. Provided the clock stops when the water is turned off! 5 minutes apply here. No matter if the water is on or not. Showering becomes a top sporting performance! A hint from the unfriendly operator would have been useful and practical, especially since I asked about the showers. The place would be super great with a decent sanitary facility and a decent operator .. So we will definitely not recommend the place. Actually a shame .. Where the place is so beautifully located and laid out ...

We drove to this parking space to explore the area around the Edersee. The place itself is well set up and has all the necessary facilities. The hygiene concept due to Corona is also ok, even if, according to my impression, it is only really checked in the alpine hut. The view from the square of the lake is great. For mobilists with a dog, it is recommended to use one of the upper floors. A walk below the square is very short and not entirely harmless. The forest begins above the square. But when you have reached this from below, the dog has usually already done everything.

Very large parking space that extends over four levels up the slope. Therefore you have a beautiful view of the lake and Waldeck Castle almost everywhere. The sanitary facilities are clean. Electricity and fresh water for a fee, disposal also available. Early arrival, especially on weekends, is recommended!

Terraces moderate space, great view, everything according to Corona guidelines 😷. You can get fresh water and electricity. Empty dirty water tank and toilet box.

The pitch has a good view, but that's all. Water 100 liters for 1 Euro, unfortunately there was only 25 liters. I said that when I registered, the answer I received was that the tube was too thin. There was no paper in the toilet and there were no paper towels after washing hands. There was a sign on the door that you can buy anything in the restaurant. Registration was very unfriendly. The parking spaces are very small, every centimeter is used here. Registration was also very unfriendly. We were there once and never again. It's a shame and one day is only enough for the view.

The view is awesome! 3 showers for men and women in a fully occupied space, 2 of which are closed due to Corona, is an absolute no-go. In the narrow toilet you have to bring your own toilet paper (!) But as a self-caterer you have a good parking space. Sufficient power columns are available. The next place is about 800m on foot. Great for cycling. No bread roll service, washing clothes and dishes are not possible. Cleaning the camping toilet and disposing of rubbish is great.

Location is very nice, great view over the Edersee to Waldeck Castle. Gastronomy on Mondays warm meals from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. as posted. But ..... Tuesday is a day of rest .... Unlucky ..... Monday is closed at 7:30 p.m., with reference to tomorrow's day of rest.

Very nice location on the lake. View is wonderful. Approach is also good, places are laid out in the form of terraces. Gastronomy also available, table reservations are recommended. Electricity is billed according to consumption. There are also sanitary facilities, use at your own risk. !!!! It is cleaned but not disinfected. You have to bring toilet paper. Shower, EUR 1.00 for 5 minutes.

The view was worthy of 5 stars but it was difficult to get to the water.

Lovely stellplaz overlooking the lake, really good forest walks directly behind, nice clean sowers and toilets (H for Men and D for women!) €14 per night ... motorhome,2 people and 2 dogs , pay electric with €1 coins (lasts well) Restaurant/Bar on site.

Good organised place, so everybody who finds a place have a good view. Check-in at the Restaurant Edersee Alm so you have to be in there during opening hours. There you get the code for the bathrooms. Overall the place in my opinion a little bit overhyped. Just because of the view.
